Guangzhou Huayue Electric Power Engineering Design Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guangzhou Zhiguang Electric Co., Ltd., has earned the 2025 Guangdong Excellent Installation Engineering Award for its Suixi Guantian Photovoltaic Power Station project. This marks another provincial-level recognition for the project following its win of the “Yan Tianyou Hometown Cup Award”, the highest honor in Guangdong’s civil engineering sector, in 2023.

The “Guangdong Excellent Installation Engineering Award”, established by the Guangdong Installation Industry Association, focuses on installation compliance, process innovation, and green energy efficiency. This award signifies that the Suixi Guantian Photovoltaic Power Station has reached industry-leading standards in installation precision, system integration efficiency, and full-cycle project management.

Located in Zhanjiang, Guangdong, the 100 MW project stood out for its precision installation, system integration efficiency, and innovative eco-friendly solutions. Huayue Electric overcame complex water-based construction challenges by introducing vegetable oil-insulated transformers, zonal environmental monitoring, and adaptive floating work platforms. These measures ensured both engineering stability and reservoir ecosystem protection.

The project adopted natural vegetable oil-insulated transformers, combined with zonal environmental monitoring to protect the ecosystem. A floating work platform was deployed to adapt flexibly to water levels, while a composite solution integrating prestressed concrete piles with photovoltaic supports ensured stability and met reservoir flood control and water storage requirements. This approach maximized ecological protection while delivering both economic and environmental benefits.

Since its commencement, the project has received numerous accolades, including Zhanjiang Safe Production Model Construction Site, Construction Quality Excellence Award, Bauhinia Cup Award, and the Guangdong Civil Engineering Yan Tianyou Hometown Cup Award. This latest honor, the highest provincial award for installation quality, further validates Huayue Electric’s engineering capabilities and reflects its core competitiveness in integrating technological innovation with lean management throughout the entire project lifecycle.

This latest award underscores Huayue Electric’s commitment to technological innovation, lean management, and sustainable energy development, as the company continues building green, low-carbon, intelligent energy systems worldwide.

The project has already received multiple honors, including the Yan Tianyou Hometown Cup Award, the Bauhinia Cup Award, and Zhanjiang’s Safe Production Model Site recognition.
