Inner Mongolia Chuangyuan's User-Side Energy Storage project is situated in the Industrial Park of Huolingole City, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The projects adds 610MW of load, and supports new energy scale of 750MW, including 540MW of wind power, 210MW of photovoltaic power, and 113MW of energy storage. It features a high-voltage cascade grid type energy storage system with a capacity of 91.5MW/366MWh, setting a new industry record for the installation scale of user side grid type energy storage systems.

In 2024, Zhiguang Grid-Type Cascaded High-Voltage Energy Storage System was successfully put into operation in many places, and has become an important flexibility deployment equipment for the new power system in the context of energy transformation and upgrading.
